Line Dufour

Matrix

is a collaboration between Erin Lewis and Line Dufour  in the developement and creation of five expository woven works on each of the five elements: earth, air, water, fire and ether, both in the physical and metaphysical sense. The initiative seeks to investigate and integrate new technologies, materials and media into weaving, employing such materials as fibre optics, LEDs, real time data feeds, UV thread, thermochromatic inks and EL wire and tape.
